I started in economics at Conn. College and gradually found I was enjoying ecology and botany more. After 2 years I transferred to the agriculture school at UCONN where I majored in natural resources.

For 25 years I worked for a couple of the largest garden centers in the state as a nursery manager and landscape design.

In my early 50s I finally had my hips replaced and it was a life changer. I found I could do things I had not been able to do since my 20s. The ability to physically work again along with the desire to get back to creativity prompted me at 55 to begin Sound Design. During the several years since we have been growing a successful business designing and installing gardens and plantings along the Connecticut shoreline.
