Make maintenance more practical. This slope was so steep that mowing was dangerous. The plants are
Carpet Cypress which will spread to the point where even mulching won’t be needed.

The blank canvas. Sometimes the most creativity is needed where there is nothing. A planting along the street can improve your view while muffling road noise. It also makes the front lawn feel more like a useable yard since you are less exposed to traffic.

Even though you want a new look when plantings get too big or tired looking not everything always needs to go. We try hard to
re-purpose or reuse where we can. This might be to save cost but often plants have sentimental value as well.

Downsize and simplify.  Sometimes a new design is needed to make life easier. Gardens can grow over the years as
new things keep getting added. There comes a point where you need to reign it in to keep it manageable.

Add color and year round interest to your home. Interesting textures and evergreens mixed with a succession of
flowering color through the year. My goal is for you to notice your garden often because it keeps changing.
